Ramirez and Schmidt Advance To State Championship

Andrew Ramirez and Michael Schmidt made history as they became the first boys in school history to qualify for the AIA State Wrestling Championships. Ramirez took home first place in the 106 pound division and Schmidt finished second at 120 pounds during the Division III Sectional Championship at Youngker High School. The boys will join

Ramirez Leads Wrestling In Historic Win

The Canyon View Varsity boys wrestling team finished up their tournament portion of their season over the weekend with a 13th place finish at the Ironwood Invitational. Leading the way was freshman Andrew Ramirez who became the first wrestler in school history to win a varsity tournament. Ramirez has a current varsity record of 44-4.
