Multiple Teams · Student-Athletes Bring Home Top Honors At Jaguar Awards Night

The Canyon View athletic department was well represented at the 2nd Annual Jaguar Awards ceremony. Six student-athletes took home top honors for their contributions both on and off the field.

Sophomores Josh Cobos (fooball) and Trevi Jones (girl’s volleyball) were named Character Matters Fall Athletes of the Year, while Daniel Valadez (boy’s basketball) and Evin Epperson (wrestling) brought home awards as Winter Athletes of the Year. Despite their seasons being cut short, Robert Antoniak (boy’s tennis) and Madeline Monroy (girl’s tennis) were named Character Matters Spring Athletes of the Year for their performances.
